Lifting Above Violence

Over a number of different events this year we aim to raise and lift awareness in relation to community violence and the relationship with alcohol by “competing together”, “sticking together” and “learning together”

We are proud of our annual CrossFit Competition that raises awareness and supports the Thomas Kelly Youth Foundation vision. A number of other new events to be announced soon!

The Thomas Kelly Youth Foundation was formed following the death of 18 year old Thomas Kelly, who was king hit in an unprovoked attack in Sydney’s King Cross in July 2012.

The Foundation’s voice has been a powerful catalyst in communicating the need for behavioural and social change in Australia through education and Take Kare initiatives such as Safe Spaces.

The vision of TKYF is to get youth home safely. TKYF aims to foster behavioural change in young people in order to create a responsible drinking culture and ultimately a safer and healthier community.
